For some reason this single has a full-point inserted after the "2".
The title is actually "2401", after the address at 2401 Laurel Canyon Boulevard where Frank Zappa & his family were residing - and Mayall was staying for a period. The address was also known as 'The Log Cabin', previously a 'squat' of the 'freak scene' commune which bred the likes of Carl Franzoni, Vito Paulekas & The GTO's.
Mayall references the GTO's, The Mothers, Moon & Gail Zappa and babysitter Christine Frka - aka Miss Christine - on the track. An incident, in which Zappa was faced by a gun-toting character they called The Raven is also included.
Mayall finally moved into Laurel Canyon. The track "2401" appears on the album "Blues From Laurel Canyon".
