Do you know what the quality of the vinyl reissues is: original masters tapes, cd-sourced or mp3? Please let me know what you think. Thanks
Sounds perfect to me to be honest. Don’t know the source
150 copies. 50 with "obi". HA! These labels are bold. But whatever keeps the cash coming in I guess.
Check my releases. All priced out fair but nobody pays attention. People only want the overpriced ones...
This finally has a vinyl release thru derapwinkelrecords.bandcamp.com. Coming in September.

I missed the pre-order on derapwinkel, but I finally found it on Vinylism;)

The album is now available on vinyl, a limited edition of 150 copies on de Rap Winkel, Netherlands: https://derapwinkelrecords.bandcamp.com/album/razzle-dazzle

Recording is very poor quality, much worse than the original copy. I'm disappointed. Scott Lark ☆☆☆☆☆ / Cha-Ching Records ☆.
Wu-Tang-Warrior When I buy a CD, it's usually to play said CD on my sound system in my home or my car, both of which, deliver a satisfying listening experience. I'm not really buying a CD to rip it onto my computer and take spectrograms of the files. With that being said, the Reissue CD sounds great to me and I would consider it inherently to be CD Quality. I've looked at the spectrograms you've included and I've taken my own with Spek, I own both CD's and extracted the lossless audio and I was met with the same results. The original CD is showing a higher KHz and DB and generally has a slightly fuller sound. I'm not interested in getting into an audiophile debate here but for me personally, the Reissue CD sounds almost identical upon raising the volume a few steps on my player. I'm not hearing any degradation in the actual source audio that detracts from the listening experience. I think it's unfair to say 'It's not CD quality" because your measurement for that is a sprectrogram that doesn't deliver the complete information of the tracks. It's possible that the CD was mastered at a lower DB, and it's also possible that the source tracks were not the same as the original CD, who knows if those were available to Cha-Ching when the CD was pressed. I know I can comfortably listen to the Reissue CD at a volume that I listen to any recently released CD that would test better on a spectrogram and it sounds good, YES REALLY. Like I've stated, I listen to my CD's, I don't buy them to test them and discern where they fall on the KHz spectrum. Your review and additional info makes it sound like the CD is ripped from the cassette tape or something. Furthermore, it's disrespectful to deliver a blanket review of Cha-Ching Records as 1 star and potentially damage their reputation. You need to look into the history of Cha-Ching, who it was founded by and what it represents to the culture of Hip-Hop. To even have this CD reissued was a surprise and a gift for those who never heard the original or who can't afford the resale prices. And bottom line, IT SOUNDS GOOD, I've confirmed this with multiple sources and it seems to me that your exploiting a minor difference that may be true according to the digital measurement of a spectrogram but to the listener this difference is not remarkable enough to fail on delivering an experience that mirrors the original. The songs are there, the songs sound good, and to anyone that's curious on what the Reissue CD sounds like, just shoot me a message and I'll send you the lossless files to preview, I find it hard to imagine that you'll be disappointed. Ok, enjoy it. I'm not against.1 star for the unprofessionalism.
Wu-Tang-Warrior Yo, were you listening to the CD on a potato? Just received a copy purchased here on Discogs... Sound quality is balanced with exceptional bass and balance, especially for tracks that were recorded and produced 20 years ago. You might need to check your speakers before throwing out misinformation like this. LOL. Don't be rude. You do not know of what you speak, and that's very funny. Good quality? REALLY?sound spectrogram :1. Original CDhttp://i.imgur.com/590CgCS.png2. Reissue (It's not cd quality)http://i.imgur.com/uwSSphg.png
Psh 180 for this? This is a good album but it's not worth that much.
